Omar Yunes Establishes Himself as a Leading Entrepreneur Globally

The owner of Sushi Itto franchise, Omar Yunes received the Best Franchisee of the World (BFW) award for the year 2015. Mr. Yunes is recognized for venturing into the business of providing Japanese food at a young age of 21 years. Today, the businessman owns more than 10 franchise units operating in Veracruz, Puebla and Mexico City. During the acceptance speech, Omar Yunes said he was only representing the entire team of 400 staff at Sushi Itto because they have played vital role of making the franchise achieve the success.

The 2015 edition was held in Florence, Italy and received representatives from over 30 countries from different parts of the world. The winner was determined on the basis of franchise’s impact to the network, and the brand was not considered. During the Mexican BFW edition, Omar Yunes was also announced the winner. The entrepreneur was recognized for his ability to improve the relation between the franchising and franchisee. The CEO of Sushi Itto, Benjamin Cancelmo, said the award was a manifestation of the company’s effort to continue with provision of top level services to their customers.

About the BFW Award

This award recognizes franchisees of top brands through their achievements, contribution and efforts of enriching their brands. Omar Yunes was the representative of Mexico in the award, and after all considerations, he was announced the winner. The objective of this award is to reward leadership, innovative ideas and embracing teamwork in the course of enhancing operations of the franchise. The Mexican chapter of BFW attracted 34 franchisees drawn from different cities in the country.
