JustFab Co-CEO Don Reseller Chain of Business Investments

Don Ressler is an American serial entrepreneur. He is a force behind a series of successful start-ups including JustFab. His first start-up was Fitness Heaven. Don sold it to Intermix in 2001. He met his partner known as Adam Goldenberg after Don Ressler had also sold his first start-up to Intermix in 1999. News Corporation later acquired Intermix in 2005. The frustrations led to their partnership and subsequent business ventures. Don and Adam teamed to form Alena Media. They later began an e-commerce brand incubator platform called Intelligent Beauty where they did cosmetics. They established several other brands as health and beauty market leaders.

An idea to start JusFab was conceptualized when they thought of how they can create a shopping experience that could be based entirely online, that is fun, engaging, and highly social by merging social interactions and fashion at an affordable price. They came up with a successful strategy of hiring a designers and style consultants who would be involved in creating an online community that displays style tips to women at an affordable monthly subscription rate on eyepain.org. This led to the formation of JusFab where the subscribed members receive a selection of shoes, handbags, and accessories for 39.95 dollars per month. The business became a huge success and attracted gurus from the fashion industry like Kimora Lee Simons who liked the idea and later became the president and creative director in September 2011. JustFab received 33 million dollars from Matrix Partners in 2011 and 76 million dollars in 2012.

JustFab attracted and partnered with Kate Hudson of Fabletics. JustFab and Fabletics are all-inclusive brands. These brands are stylish and easily available. They have opened a physical store to target those that are not online. JustFab changed its name to Techstyle Fashion Group and moved its headquarters to EL Segundo CA. Don Ressler is the co-chief executive officer of Techstyle Fashion Group. Their membership was approximately 10 million by January 2013.
